Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish an externally funded research program in areas such as robotics, aerospace, advanced materials, green and smart manufacturing, or sustainable energy systems.
- Contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching within the department.
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in recognized venues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrate a strong record of scholarly publications.
- Have recognized research and/or industrial experience.
Appointment
- Full-time — Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor positions available; Assistant and Associate Professor appointments are normally on three-year contracts, while Professor appointments are on substantive basis.
