Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish an externally funded research program in mechanical and aerospace engineering.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the department.
- Conduct basic and applied research in areas such as robotics, aerospace, advanced materials, green and smart manufacturing, or sustainable energy systems.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrate a strong record of scholarly publications.
- Have recognized research and/or industrial experience.
Appointment
- Full-time; tenure-track at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank; Assistant/Associate Professor positions are normally three-year contracts with gratuity upon completion; Professor positions are on substantive basis.
