# Job Summary: Research Officer/Assistant Research Officer
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end research projects in metabolic diseases including obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
- Design translational research strategies using multi-omics approaches to identify and prioritize novel biomarkers and drug targets.
- Design and perform biomedical experiments including cell-based assays, molecular biology techniques, and biostatistical analysis for therapeutic discovery.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree, preferably in molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or related disciplines.
- Prior postdoctoral or industry experience in relevant fields is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
Appointment
- Full-time, 1-year temporary basis or 2-3 year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal.
