Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide IT technical support, photography, videography and audiovisual assistance for academic programmes, events and workshops.
- Assist with venue setup and troubleshoot computing and AV facilities.
- Provide technical support to staff members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May occasionally work on weekends.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of post-qualification work experience preferred.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS and Office applications.
- Experience in helpdesk support, photography and videography.
- Solid experience in web application development using CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, ASP.NET, PL/SQL and HTML5.
- Excellent communication skills and strong sense of responsibility.
- Experience in a tertiary institution or education sector is advantageous.
- Competence in troubleshooting and maintaining computers and AV equipment advantageous.
- Good team player, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
Appointment
- Full-time, 2-year fixed-term contract (renewable subject to satisfactory performance), with contract-end gratuity and University contributions to retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
