Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on miRNA regulation and downstream signaling pathways in cancer development and progression.
- Investigate functional roles of endogenous and extracellular miRNAs in oncogenic and tumor-suppressor contexts.
- Perform proteomic profiling of oncogenes and tumor suppressors related to metastasis.
- Identify and validate circulating biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis, and prediction of metastasis.
- Assist in clinical sample collection and processing, maintain research databases and biobanking resources.
- Support grant proposal preparation, laboratory management, and manuscript preparation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Multi-omics, or related discipline with more than ten years of relevant research experience.
- Strong background in miRNA biology, circulating biomarkers, exosomes, and translational cancer research.
- At least five years of postdoctoral research experience preferred.
- Proven publication record in peer-reviewed journals and experience presenting at major international conferences preferred.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
