Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research and creative work in machine creativity, machine-assisted art practice, critical studies, or art management.
- Teach courses in your area of specialization to talented, globally-minded students.
- Collaborate interdisciplinarily with colleagues across science, engineering, and AI disciplines.
- Contribute to shaping the Division of Arts and Machine Creativity as a groundbreaking academic unit.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrate proven excellence in research, creative work, and/or teaching in arts and machine creativity fields.
- Have expertise in linking emerging technologies such as generative AI with artistic practices.
- Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline, or have distinguished professional/academic achievements.
- Submit a letter of interest summarizing qualifications, expertise, and career goals.
Appointment
- Full-time; Assistant/Associate Professor positions typically on three-year contracts with gratuity upon successful completion; Professor rank on substantive basis.
