Duties & Responsibilities
- Process patient samples including body fluids and tissues in the CU-Med Biobank.
- Register samples and enter data using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Conduct quality control testing on samples.
- Procure laboratory equipment.
- Work at multiple locations and outside normal office hours as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Biological Sciences or related disciplines.
- Have experience handling blood and tissue samples.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
- Work independently in a careful and well-organised manner.
- Preferably have experience in DNA/RNA extraction and LIMS usage.
Appointment
- Contract — up to 2 years (renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement; contract-end gratuity provided for 2-year contract).
