Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating a Quality Enhancement Measures project on omics exploration and sequencing technology.
- Conduct literature reviews on relevant topics.
- Recruit research participants and assist in conducting interventions.
- Perform WES, WGS, RNAseq, microbiomes, and metagenomics sequencing.
- Perform bioinformatics analysis on sequencing data.
- Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis and provide research-related assistance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in biomedical science, molecular biology, cancer genetics, medical bioinformatics or related discipline.
- Track record of research and hands-on experience with short- and long-read sequencing and data processing.
- Proficiency in Python, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with SPSS proficiency as an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Strong team player able to coordinate research projects independently.
Appointment
- Full-time, temporary contract for up to 11 months with possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding.
