Duties & Responsibilities
- Focus on education of medical students and postgraduate teaching and supervision.
- Conduct academic research in anaesthesia and/or pain medicine.
- May be assigned to discharge clinical duties at affiliated hospitals and clinics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong and Fellow status with the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine or equivalent.
- Higher academic qualification (MD, MS, PhD) preferred.
- For Clinical Professor: distinguished research record with publications and grants, international recognition, and demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring.
- For Clinical Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: strong research track record, clinical skills, teaching experience, and proven capacity for basic, clinical or translational research.
Appointment
- Full-time, four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure.
