Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research in global health.
Publish research articles in high-impact journals and attract competitive grants.
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise research postgraduate students.
Perform administrative duties within the School of Public Health.
Lead and document field interventions and interact with global health partners.

Ph.D. degree or equivalent in public health, epidemiology, economics, political science, geography, medical anthropology, medical sociology, international health law, or related discipline.
Prior research experience in development studies, health systems research, global public health, primary health care, or implementation science.
Strong track record of high-quality research demonstrated by publications and external grants.
International recognition with ability to work across disciplines towards new research initiatives.
Strong commitment to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Contract: Three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year fixed-term contract; exceptionally outstanding candidates may be appointed on tenure terms.
