Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in the BSocSc(Counselling) and BSW programs.
- Supervise capstone projects and foster experiential learning opportunities.
- Promote compassionate pedagogy and innovation in teaching.
- Network with agencies to facilitate internship placements and career development.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a master's degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or related field.
- Possess at least two years of in-service practice experience as a registered counsellor, social worker, or equivalent.
- Demonstrate independent, flexible, and innovative working styles.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in teaching, training, or education is advantageous.
- Knowledge in psychotherapy research and community psychology research is an asset.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract for two years with possibility of renewal.
