Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in the BSocSc(Counselling) and BSW programs.
- Supervise capstone projects and foster experiential learning opportunities.
- Promote compassionate pedagogy throughout the curriculum.
- Network with agencies to facilitate capstone placements, internships, and career development opportunities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a master's degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Possess at least two years of in-service practice experience as a registered counsellor, social worker, or equivalent.
- Demonstrate independent, flexible, and innovative working styles.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Teaching, training, or education experience is advantageous.
- Interest and knowledge in psychotherapy research and community psychology research are assets.
Appointment
- Full-time — two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal.
