Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply for external competitive research grants.
- Develop and participate in collaborative research projects.
- Supervise postgraduate students.
- Teach courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
- Take up research administrative duties for the School.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or delegates.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in nursing or a related discipline required.
- Experience in tertiary-level research and teaching required.
- Research record demonstrated by publishing papers in refereed journals required.
- Strong academic credentials and outstanding academic records needed.
- Substantial publications in international journals and competitive research grants advantageous.
- Collaborative research projects involving different disciplines advantageous.
Appointment
- Contract — two years initially for Assistant Professor; up to two years for Research Assistant Professor, renewable subject to good performance, funding availability, and mutual agreement.
