Duties & Responsibilities

Teach and develop courses in artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, and mechatronics across classroom, laboratory, and project-based formats.
Contribute to programme development, quality assurance, and accreditation activities.
Conduct scholarly research, publish high-quality work, and secure external research funding.
Establish and promote research collaborations with academic and industry partners.
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
Support student development through mentoring, competitions, and experiential learning activities.
Participate in school and university-wide administrative activities.

Doctoral degree in artificial intelligence, automation engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics engineering, or related discipline.
Relevant experience in the tertiary education sector.
Competence in teaching and professional experience including programme development and course administration.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English for instruction.
Proven record of peer-reviewed publications in robotics, intelligent systems, control, or automation.
Substantial industrial or professional experience in robot perception, manipulation, control, autonomous systems, or industrial robotics.
Preferred: track record of applied research, technology transfer, or co-developed industry projects.
Preferred: record of securing competitive research funding.
