Duties & Responsibilities

Support the Principal Investigator on research projects related to English-medium Instruction and language education.
Liaise with local schools and recruit research participants for studies.
Conduct data collection through classroom observations, interviews, focus groups, and surveys.
Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis on collected research data.
Assist with manuscript preparation, publication, grant applications, and editorial work.
Support project administration, event organisation, and knowledge dissemination activities.

Hold a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Applied Linguistics, Education, Linguistics, English, or related discipline.
Demonstrate excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
Possess strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g. SPSS) is advantageous.
Familiarity with qualitative data analysis and advanced AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT and Gemini) is advantageous.
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is desirable.
