Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research and generate scholarly publications or other significant research outputs.
Initiate and support research projects and secure external research grants, external funding and donations.
Strengthen academic and professional networks including collaborations with local and overseas institutions.
Provide effective leadership in programme and curriculum development and manage programmes and courses at undergraduate to postgraduate levels.
Engage in and lead research-related activities with colleagues and research postgraduate students.
Participate actively as a member of the University's community.

Doctoral degree in a related discipline.
Active researcher with proven capacity and potential in research.
Fluency in English with preference for knowledge of Cantonese and Putonghua.
Understanding of the educational context of Hong Kong and/or China.
For Associate Professor: evidence of strong research output and publication record with strong research impact.
For Assistant Professor: evidence of scholarship, research, and publications.
International experience is highly valued.
