Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research and generate scholarly publications or other significant research outputs.
Initiate and support research projects, and secure external research grants and funding.
Strengthen academic and professional networks with local, Chinese Mainland, and overseas institutions.
Provide leadership in programme and curriculum development at undergraduate to postgraduate levels.
Engage with colleagues and postgraduate research students on research-related activities.
Participate actively in the University's community.

Hold a doctoral degree and/or prior degrees in relevant fields.
Demonstrate significant research contributions in Chinese Foreign Affairs and International Relations.
Possess strong teaching capabilities and sustained record of academic research with extensive citations.
Show proven track record of securing external competitive research grants and funding.
Demonstrate ability to develop new courses and contextualise China's foreign policy within global trends.
Possess familiarity with interdisciplinary approaches.
