Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Chinese Foreign Affairs and International Relations at tertiary level.
- Develop new courses addressing China's role in global governance and regional affairs.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to support student intellectual and professional development.
- Contribute to fostering a dynamic scholarly environment within the Academy.
- Travel outside Hong Kong and undertake work as assigned by the University.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Master's degree in Chinese Foreign Affairs, International Relations, or related discipline with minimum 8 years of post-qualification teaching experience, OR a Doctoral degree with at least 3 years of post-qualification teaching or professional experience.
- Demonstrate at least two years of university-level teaching experience and subject expertise.
- Show pedagogical competence in Chinese Foreign Affairs and International Relations.
- Be capable of developing courses on China's evolving global role and related topics.
- Have familiarity with interdisciplinary approaches and ability to contextualise China's foreign policy within global trends.
Appointment
- Fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and available funding.
