Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer local and non-local external research grants.
  • Liaise with internal departments/units and external funding bodies.
  • Prepare statistical reports and papers.
  • Co-ordinate events and supervise supporting staff.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Hold a good Bachelor's degree or above with English language requirements fulfilled.
  • Have at least 2 years' post-qualification executive experience, preferably in research grant management at higher education institutions.
  • Demonstrate excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • Possess strong organisational, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Show proactive work attitude and competence in multitasking with ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Have strong computer literacy and solid experience in writing reports and papers (preferred).
  • Prior experience in managing Chinese Mainland research grants is advantageous.

Appointment

  • Full-time / Contract — up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
