Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop strong, independent and innovative programs of externally sponsored research.
- Teach effectively in chemical and/or biological engineering courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Participate in services of the Department, the School and the University.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in chemical engineering, bioengineering or closely related field.
- Research expertise in biological engineering (synthetic biology, systems biology, biomedical devices, wearable bioelectronics, health informatics) or chemical engineering (functional materials, energy conversion and storage, green catalysis, food technology, process system engineering, data science, artificial intelligence for medicine and chemical engineering).
Appointment
- Full-time, 3-year contract (renewable) for Assistant Professor/Associate Professor; substantive basis for Professor.
