Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend features, APIs, and data infrastructure for the UpCareer AI platform.
- Build gameplay data capture and scoring mechanisms within the BLADE gamification platform.
- Design APIs to integrate AI recommendation models into the platform.
- Develop and maintain data schemas for demographic, behavioural, attitudinal, and performance data.
- Support data cleaning, mining, and analytics to facilitate AI model development.
- Collaborate with front-end developers on API specifications and integration issues.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and technical documentation of backend systems.
- Support platform maintenance and infrastructure enhancement post-deployment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (final-year students eligible).
- Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL database design principles.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving ability and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
- Experience with Python and API development frameworks such as Flask.
