Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research in ocean science and technology across fundamental sciences to cutting-edge applications.
- Establish and lead independent research programs with potential for regional and international impact.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in your discipline.
- Collaborate with governmental and industrial partners on research projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD degree in ocean science or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate a strong research record and potential to establish robust research programs.
- Show commitment to excellence in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Possess at least 2 years of post-doctoral experience (preferred for Assistant Professor positions).
- Be fluent in English as the medium of instruction.
Appointment
- Full-time; initial three-year renewable contract with potential for tenure upon positive academic review for Associate Professor and above.
