Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research in ocean science and technology across fundamental and applied disciplines.
- Establish and lead independent research programs in designated areas of ocean science.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in ocean science.
- Collaborate with governmental and industrial partners on research initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD degree in ocean science or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate a strong research record and potential to establish robust research programs.
- Show commitment to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- For Assistant Professor positions, at least 2 years of post-doctoral experience is preferred.
Appointment
- Full-time; initial appointment on a three-year renewable contract; Associate Professor or above may be eligible for tenured positions subject to formal review.
