Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research in embodied AI, medical robotics, or related areas such as control, autonomy, robot learning, or healthcare applications.
- Hold appointments in appropriate academic departments and contribute to teaching and mentoring.
- Participate in the Cheng Kar-Shun Robotics Institute's research initiatives and collaborations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or related fields required by appointment.
- Research expertise in embodied AI, medical robots, control, autonomy, robot learning, physical AI, surgical robots, rehabilitation robots, or healthcare robots.
- Demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.
Appointment
- Full-time; Assistant Professor positions initially on a three-year contract with gratuity upon completion.
