Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach courses in the Master of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature programme and undergraduate courses.
- Supervise student dissertations.
- Assist with organizing MACLL field trips and undertake programme administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Chinese Language and Literature or a related field.
- 3 years' post-qualification teaching experience at tertiary level or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven record of excellence in teaching and demonstrable administrative experience in higher education.
- Preference given to applicants with expertise in classical Chinese literature, particularly classical Chinese poetry, prose, or gender and literary studies.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract for two years with possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance.
