Manager (Research Impact and Assessment)

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead Research Assessment Exercise (RAE)-related work including internal reviews, submission planning, data validation and stakeholder liaison.
Conduct regular internal RAE in collaboration with Faculties and Schools.
Serve as secretary for RAE-related working groups and task forces.
Develop and operate the University's database for research outputs, impact and related information with data validation and quality assurance.
Facilitate identification, development and dissemination of research impact case studies.
Partially support research grants and funding schemes administration and assist in developing related policies and processes.

Bachelor's degree or above, preferably with postgraduate qualifications.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in higher education; direct RAE/REF experience is advantageous.
Experience managing datasets or databases with high IT literacy.
Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Strong attention to detail, meticulous, responsible and able to multitask with AI tools.

Fixed-term contract — 2 years (re-appointment subject to mutual agreement and funding availability).
