Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote collaboration and maintain industry networks with Training Boards and Operational Units to support Council activities.
- Engage industry partners in planning and delivering conferences, seminars, competitions and activities to promote vocational education.
- Provide secretariat support to Training Boards and committees including preparation of meeting papers and documentation.
- Drive development and implementation of web-based platforms and digital solutions including AI-enabled tools.
- Assist in planning and delivery of large-scale vocational education events such as conferences, forums and award ceremonies.
- Conduct industry engagement activities including manpower surveys, trade tests and Recognition of Prior Learning functions.
- Lead and supervise a team of staff to ensure quality execution of duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably with postgraduate qualification relevant to business, engineering, healthcare, IT or innovation.
- At least 7 years' relevant experience at appropriate level, preferably in tertiary/vocational education or industry-engagement organisation.
- Knowledge of committee work and governance; experience in secretariat support to boards or working groups.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and digital trends; experience in development or implementation of information systems.
- Experience in project collaboration, event management and large-scale conferences; experience in marketing and school networking in relevant industries.
- Understanding of Hong Kong Qualifications Framework and Government-subsidised training schemes.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua with strong presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills with ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and resilient with ability to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines.
