Duties & Responsibilities
- Translate Daoist texts and writings from Chinese into English.
- Assist in the Centre's research project on Daoist ritual music.
- Contribute to other academic activities organised by the Centre.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's degree or above, preferably in Translation, Chinese Studies, literary studies, or related discipline.
- At least four years of post-qualification relevant work experience.
- Experience translating classical Chinese texts into English.
- Track record of research.
- High proficiency in English and Chinese, including classical Chinese.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Appointment
- Part-time, 10-month contract (renewable)
