Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research in remote sensing, Earth observation, geospatial data science, or related areas.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary research projects in climate change, sustainability, healthy cities, or spatial epidemiology.
- Support the development of satellite remote sensing data centres and the Geospatial Intelligence Laboratory.
- Participate in teaching and academic activities as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD in Geography, Geo-Information Science, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Data Science, Environmental Science, Public Health, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Demonstrate research expertise in Earth observation, GeoAI, spatial data science, climate change, sustainability, healthy cities, or urban analytics.
- Show evidence of research and teaching excellence or potential for excellence.
- Possess strong proposal writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — up to three years, commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
