Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with supervisors and research teams to advance AI-enabled Earth observation initiatives and develop the iEarth platform.
Conduct innovative research in remote sensing, geospatial AI, spatiotemporal data analytics, and climate/sustainability applications.
Design and evaluate research methodologies, AI/ML models, data workflows, and functional prototypes.
Translate academic outputs into integrated platform features and practical demonstrations alongside technical teams.
Author high-impact academic papers, grant proposals, project reports, and technical documentation.

Hold a degree in Remote Sensing, GIS, Computer Science, AI, Earth System Science, or related discipline.
For Post-doctoral Fellow: Ph.D. with proven independent research ability and high-quality academic outputs.
For Senior Research Assistant: Master's degree, postgraduate qualifications, or substantial equivalent research experience.
Demonstrate advanced Python programming proficiency and hands-on experience in remote sensing, geospatial analysis, or machine learning.
Possess excellent written and spoken English with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Experience in large-scale geospatial data processing, AI model deployment, or research software development is advantageous.

Full-time, temporary contract for 1 year with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
