Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research in materials science, chemistry, and nanoscience relevant to life sciences and energy applications.
- Lead and develop high-impact interdisciplinary research programs within the MILES institute.
- Teach and mentor Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows from around the world.
- Secure competitive research funding to support research activities.
- Collaborate across disciplines within the interface of science, engineering, and medicine.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in physical sciences, engineering, or biomedical sciences.
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding.
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring.
- For senior positions: internationally recognized research excellence and proven academic leadership experience in chemistry, materials or nanoscience.
- For senior positions: collaborative, interdisciplinary mindset with ability to lead high-impact research.
Appointment
- Full-time; Assistant Professor positions offered on 3-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration; senior positions may be considered for tenure-track.
