Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct mammalian cell-based and functional genomics experiments.
- Assist with laboratory set-up and protocol development.
- Coordinate with core facilities.
- Serve as a founding member of the mitochondrial physiology research laboratory.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree plus four years post-qualification work experience, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline.
- At least two years hands-on laboratory experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology.
- Direct experience with genetic or genomic manipulation (CRISPR/Cas9, lentiviral transduction, RNA interference, or stable overexpression).
- Preferred experience includes pooled CRISPR screens, next-generation sequencing library preparation, flow cytometry, live-cell imaging, or laboratory management.
Appointment
- Contract — one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
