Duties & Responsibilities
- Undertake data engineering on large-scale Chinese medicine corpora, including data cleaning, format conversion and de-duplication.
- Deploy and maintain vector databases and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Assist in verifying factuality of model-generated content and conduct statistical analysis of experimental data.
- Help prepare research reports and academic papers.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Proficient in Python programming, database management and development.
- Experience with text processing, OCR pipelines, vector databases (FAISS, Milvus, Chroma) and RAG/LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) is highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently on large datasets, with strong written and spoken English and Chinese; experience with classical Chinese texts or Chinese medicine is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time fixed-term contract of up to 24 months, subject to project funding availability.
