Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and organize research data for linguistic landscape projects.
- Code and annotate photographic and textual data using geosemiotic analysis methods.
- Compile and maintain research databases and perform preliminary qualitative and quantitative analyses.
- Prepare research reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for project activities and academic seminars.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferably Master's) in Sociolinguistics, Applied Linguistics, Translation Studies, Intercultural Communication, Cultural Studies, Anthropology or related field.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in qualitative research and data management.
- Familiarity with linguistic landscape research, sociolinguistics, translation studies, or cultural studies.
