Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish an independent research program in omics-related areas including disease prediction, biomarker discovery, precision medicine, or drug discovery.
- Develop the translational omics platform facilities and secure external research funding.
- Teach and mentor students at undergraduate and graduate levels in research settings.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Faculty and across the institution.
- Engage with visiting scholars and industry partners to advance research objectives.
- Provide consultation services and support for the omics facility.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in molecular biology, proteomics, mass spectrometry, drug discovery, genomics, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, or related discipline.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of impactful research with high-quality publications.
- Possess strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in securing external research funding is optional.
- Ability to teach and mentor students at both undergraduate and graduate levels is optional.
