Duties & Responsibilities

Contribute to design, implementation, and monitoring of epidemiological studies on infectious disease surveillance and pandemic preparedness.
Manage and analyze epidemiological data to support research objectives.
Assist in developing research protocols, data collection tools, and ethical applications.
Prepare research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for scientific meetings.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on research initiatives.
Support capacity-building activities and knowledge translation efforts in low- and middle-income countries.
Undertake regular international travel to field sites in Africa and Asia to monitor project implementation.

Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related field required; PhD desirable.
3-5 years of experience in epidemiological research, preferably in infectious diseases, vaccines, pandemic preparedness, or antimicrobial resistance.
Strong quantitative skills and experience with statistical software (R, SAS, or Stata).
Ability to manage and analyze large epidemiological datasets.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Preference for prior experience in global health, international organizations, or low- and middle-income country settings.

One-year temporary or two-year fixed-term contract, with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
