Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advisory support to researchers on proposal development, research design, and alignment with funder priorities.
- Write and develop competitive grant proposals in close collaboration with academic staff across all disciplines.
- Coordinate large-scale multidisciplinary grant applications involving multiple faculties and institutional partners.
- Monitor emerging research funding trends and provide intelligence to inform institutional strategy.
- Facilitate cross-faculty collaborations and promote research integrity and compliance with funder policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of postdoctoral or professional experience in research proposal development and grant acquisition, preferably in a university setting.
- In-depth knowledge of major research funding landscapes and evaluation criteria.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly.
- Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua preferred).
Appointment
- Full-time, 2-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance.
