Senior Analyst Programmer (Student Information Systems)

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support Student Information Systems and related digital transformation projects.
Assist supervisor in IT project implementation, vendor collaboration, and consultant coordination.
Conduct feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, testing, training, and deployment for business requirements.
Work independently on application development including system design, coding, and implementation for PowerBuilder and web-based solutions.
Monitor systems proactively, identify and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and consultants to deliver efficient project outcomes.

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related discipline.
Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in application development.
Proficiency in Java/JEE development including EJB, JSF, AJAX, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, React, and Node.js.
Frontend and web development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Database development experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and RDBMS systems (Sybase, MySQL, MSSQL).
Experience administering IBM WebSphere Server and Oracle WebLogic Server.
Strong self-starter, results-oriented mindset with business acumen.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
API management tools experience (e.g., Boomi) is advantageous; student information systems experience is highly desirable.
