Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses during daytime and evening sessions.
- Supervise and coordinate students' fieldwork in social service agencies.
- Assist in curriculum development and design.
- Contribute practical social work experience to teaching and curriculum initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree (Senior Lecturer/Lecturer) or Master's degree (Assistant Lecturer) in social work or related discipline.
- Be a registered social worker.
- Have 8 years post-doctoral (Senior Lecturer) or 4 years post-Master's (Lecturer) teaching/professional experience with proven teaching excellence.
- Have at least 5 years' post-degree social work practice in areas such as family services, mental health, medical social work, or social policy.
- Demonstrate ability to teach high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Show commitment to social work education and excellence in teaching and scholarship.
Appointment
- Contract — up to two years commencing August 2025, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
