Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research at the interface of statistical methodology, artificial intelligence, and data science.
- Develop creative and impactful research and teaching programmes integrating advanced methods with business, economics, and insurance.
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaborations between HKU Business School and the School of Computing and Data Science.
- Contribute to the Statistics Group in the Innovation and Information Management Area.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Outstanding scholarly record in modern statistical methodology, artificial intelligence, or data science.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-impact research and teaching.
- Capacity to contribute to cross-disciplinary collaborations between business and computing/data science.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract of three years with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract; exceptionally outstanding candidates at Professor/Associate Professor level may be considered for tenure-track appointment.
