Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research at the interface of statistical methodology, artificial intelligence, and data science.
- Develop creative and impactful programmes integrating advanced statistical methods and AI with business and economics.
- Contribute to teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes.
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaborations between HKU Business School and the School of Computing and Data Science.
- Play a leading role in advancing the Statistics Group within the Innovation and Information Management Area.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Outstanding scholar with expertise in modern statistical methodology, artificial intelligence, and data science.
- Research interests at the interface of statistics, AI, and business applications.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-impact research and teaching.
- Capacity to contribute to multidisciplinary collaborations.
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration; exceptionally outstanding candidates at senior levels may be considered for tenure-track appointment.
