# **Duties & Responsibilities**
• Conduct research at the interface of statistics, artificial intelligence, and data science with applications to business and economics.
- Develop and deliver teaching programmes integrating advanced statistical methods and AI with business applications.
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaborations between HKU Business School and the School of Computing and Data Science.
- Contribute to research and education across statistics, AI, data science, fintech, and actuarial science.
# **Requirements & Qualifications**
• Outstanding scholarship in modern statistical methodology, artificial intelligence, or data science.
- Research and teaching expertise at the interface of statistics, AI, and business/economics applications.
- Ability to develop creative and impactful interdisciplinary research programmes.
- Capability to lead collaborative initiatives across multiple academic units.
# **Appointment**
• Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration before expiry of second three-year contract; tenure-track positions available for exceptional candidates at Professor/Associate Professor level.
