Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research at the interface of statistical methodology, artificial intelligence, and data science.
- Develop creative and impactful research and teaching programs integrating advanced statistical methods with business and economics.
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaborations between HKU Business School and the School of Computing and Data Science.
- Contribute to undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, EMBA, and research programs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Outstanding scholarship in modern statistical methodology, artificial intelligence, or data science.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-impact research and teaching.
- Capacity to contribute to cross-disciplinary collaborations between business and computing/data science.
- Eligibility for tenure consideration (exceptionally outstanding candidates at Professor/Associate Professor level may be appointed on tenure terms).
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration before expiry of second three-year contract.
