Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research at the interface of statistical methodology, artificial intelligence, and data science.
- Develop and deliver teaching programs integrating advanced statistical methods with business and economics applications.
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaborations between HKU Business School and the School of Computing and Data Science.
- Lead initiatives connecting statistics, AI, and business research with insurance and economics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Outstanding scholarship in modern statistical methodology, artificial intelligence, or data science.
- Expertise enabling contributions to both business and computing/data science fields.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-impact, creative research.
- Capability to teach and mentor students across multiple academic levels.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — three-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration; exceptional candidates at Professor/Associate Professor level may be considered for tenure-track appointment.
