Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach courses in postgraduate programmes related to international organizations and/or global governance.
- Conduct rigorous quantitative research on the economics and politics of the energy sector.
- Contribute actively to research and knowledge exchange activities.
- Develop postgraduate programmes and assume service and administrative responsibilities as appropriate.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in economics, public policy, or a closely related field.
- Accomplished scholar with expertise in quantitative research on energy sector dynamics.
- Teaching and research experience in areas such as carbon-to-renewable energy transition, natural resource supply chains, industrial policy restructuring, or global energy governance.
- Proven track record or strong potential for research excellence and scholarly publications.
Appointment
- Full-time; Three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract. Exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for direct tenure appointment subject to university approval.
