Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach biomedical sciences subjects across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in medicine, biomedical sciences, pharmacy, nursing, and Chinese medicine.
- Establish an innovative, well-funded research group open to interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Conduct research at the forefront of biology and medicine, including molecular biology, developmental biology, cancer, neuroscience, and bioengineering.
- Contribute to the School's strategic academic and research developments locally, regionally, and internationally.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Evidence of international recognition and strong scholarship record with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines.
- Strong commitment to inquiry-based learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Strong track record of high-quality research demonstrated by publications and external grants.
Appointment
- Full-time; three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract.
