Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent, high-quality research and foster interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Supervise MPhil and PhD students and develop a vigorous research program.
- Engage in scholarly activities such as organizing conferences, symposia, and seminars.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD in Chemical Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
- Relevant postdoctoral research experience and excellent publication record in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong history of securing external research funding through competitive grants.
- Expertise in chemical, biomedical, and/or environmental science and engineering, including AI for chemistry, is highly desirable.
Appointment
- Tenure-track position with initial fixed-term contract of three years; re-appointment subject to mutual agreement; tenure expected within six years.
