Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant(s)

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide research and administrative support throughout the project cycle.
Collect, prepare, and manage qualitative and quantitative data.
Conduct data analysis using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods, including advanced statistical analyses where required.
Assist in the preparation and dissemination of research outputs.
Perform other research-related and administrative duties as assigned.

Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Applied Linguistics, English Language Studies, Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
Have experience supporting both qualitative and quantitative research, including instrument preparation, data collection, transcription, coding, and analysis.
Possess knowledge of research methods and familiarity with data management and analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, Stata, NVivo, MAXQDA).
Have experience supporting educational and/or linguistic research, preferably in a tertiary setting.
Demonstrate strong academic literacy skills, including ability to conduct literature searches and draft research reports.
Have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with Cantonese proficiency preferred.
Work independently and collaboratively with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrate responsibility, integrity, and high self-motivation.

Full-time / Part-time — Contract, up to one year, commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to satisfactory performance, operational needs, and funding availability.
