Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in research investigating the biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology, and cell biology of microtubule formation and cellular architecture.
- Employ single-molecule fluorescence and cryogenic electron microscopy techniques to dissect the molecular basis of diverse human tubulin isotypes.
- Work independently and collaboratively within the research laboratory on assigned projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree or above in Biological Science, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biophysics, or related disciplines.
- Excellent experimentation and communication skills.
- Strong background in molecular biology, protein purification, cell biology, genome engineering, neuroscience, structural biology, or fluorescence microscopy preferred.
- Experience in cell imaging or single-molecule fluorescence microscopy is a plus.
- Organized, self-motivated, highly committed, and able to work independently and in teams.
