Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver collaborative projects on live-attenuated vaccine strategies for influenza and respiratory diseases.
  • Conduct either immunology research characterizing immune mechanisms in human cell samples and organoids, or molecular virology research on antigen diversification.
  • Work on vaccine and drug development initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in biological or medical sciences is required.
  • Experience in B and T cell immunology, virology, or microbiology with proven research track record is essential.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is required.
  • Prior experience with respiratory viruses, vaccine/drug development, or innate immunity is advantageous.
  • Experience analyzing ATACseq and scRNA-seq datasets is desirable.

Appointment

  • Full-time contract — one-year or two-year temporary term with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
