Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct applied and methodological epidemiological and statistical research with a large population-based cohort of over 46,000 participants.
Perform power/sample size estimations and generate tables and figures for reports and presentations.
Write scientific publications, grant proposals, and reports.
Assist with general administrative and operational duties as assigned.
RAP appointees are expected to take a leading role overseeing the cohort team.

Hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D., D.Sc., Dr.P.H. or equivalent) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health or related disciplines.
Demonstrate strong quantitative background and experience analysing epidemiological data using R, STATA, SAS or similar statistical packages.
Show expertise in analysing large and complex datasets with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in longitudinal analyses, multilevel modelling, data visualisation, and state-of-the-art statistical models is advantageous; relevant post-doctoral experience and strong publication record preferred for RAP consideration.

Full-time: Two to three years fixed-term for RAP, or one to three years temporary for PDF.
