Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct interdisciplinary research on transport, environment, urban systems and human populations using spatial data science.
- Apply emerging computational methods and artificial intelligence to urban and environmental research questions.
- Contribute to collaborative research projects across diverse disciplinary backgrounds.
- Initiate and lead independent research aligned with the group's research directions.
- Publish research findings in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree (awarded or nearing completion) in Transportation, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Data Science, Public Health, or related discipline.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills and research experience in urban environments, spatiotemporal data analysis, or artificial intelligence.
- Excellent academic writing and communication skills in English with demonstrated publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong self-motivation, independence, teamwork and project management abilities.
- Experience in large-scale research, advanced AI/computational methods, or outstanding publication record preferred.
