Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research and publish in high-impact journals.
- Attract competitive grants to maintain active research programmes.
- Teach undergraduate (especially MBBS) and postgraduate programmes and supervise research students.
- Contribute to professional education programmes and community public health initiatives.
- Perform administrative duties as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess a primary medical qualification registrable in Hong Kong.
- Hold a specialist qualification in Public Health Medicine (F.H.K.A.M. Community Medicine) or equivalent.
- Demonstrate proven ability to conduct quality research and publish in high-quality journals.
- Show track record or strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Evidence of teaching and leadership in professional education or community engagement.
Appointment
- Full-time, four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second four-year contract; exceptional candidates may be appointed on tenure terms.
