Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research and publish in high-impact journals.
- Teach undergraduate (especially MBBS) and postgraduate programmes and supervise research postgraduate students.
- Contribute to teaching and coordinating professional education programmes.
- Conduct community public health and knowledge exchange programmes and perform administrative duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a primary medical qualification registrable in Hong Kong and specialist qualification in Public Health Medicine (F.H.K.A.M. or equivalent).
- Demonstrate proven ability to conduct quality research and gain regional and international recognition.
- Show track record or strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Demonstrate teaching and leadership in professional education programmes or community engagement.
Appointment
- Full-time, four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second four-year contract; exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for immediate tenure.
