Duties & Responsibilities

Engage in teaching and teaching-related activities.
Provide academic leadership in discipline-based and pedagogical research.
Lead quality assurance, administration, development and promotion of programmes.
Secure external research grants, conduct research, and publish in top-tier journals.
Assist the Division Head with delegated divisional matters.
May be required to work outside Hong Kong occasionally.

Hold a doctoral degree in a related discipline.
Demonstrate substantial experience in teaching, research, and programme administration.
Have a proven track record of securing competitive research funding.
Possess proficiency in English and/or Chinese as required by the discipline.
Have knowledge of AI-assisted language teaching and assessment.
Show strong connections with industries, professional bodies and public organisations.
Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.
For Bilingual Studies and Communication/Chinese: proficiency in Putonghua required, Cantonese preferred.

Full-time contract — two-year initial appointment with re-engagement subject to mutual agreement.
