Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research and generate scholarly publications and significant research outputs.
Initiate and support research projects while securing external grants, funding, and donations.
Strengthen academic and professional networks through collaborations with local, national, and international institutions.
Provide leadership in programme and curriculum development at undergraduate to postgraduate levels.
Engage in and lead research-related activities with colleagues and research postgraduate students.
Participate actively in the University's community.

Hold a doctoral degree and/or prior degrees in Economics or a relevant field.
Demonstrate proven scholarly achievement evidenced by high citation impact and significant field contributions.
Show demonstrated success in securing external competitive research funding.
Establish national and international collaborations.
Possess strong teaching capabilities and a sustained record of academic research.
Have expertise in Digital Economics, AI algorithms, Big Data methods, policy, regulation, and/or International Economy.
