Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct internationally excellent research and secure research funding with societal impact.
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervise research students.
Develop innovative, discovery-enriched curriculum.
Provide academic leadership and mentor junior faculty members.
Contribute to departmental and university intellectual life through service and professional engagement.

Hold a doctorate in a relevant field by the appointment date.
Demonstrate international reputation in 20th/21st century literature, world literature, transnational literature, or Asian literature.
Have strong record of internationally excellent scholarship including publications and grant capture.
Possess strong teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Show evidence of academic leadership and professional service (Professor) or significant contributions to academic and professional development (Associate Professor).
