Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop an independent and vigorous research program in philosophy.
- Teach three to four courses per year, including introductory first-year courses.
- Excel in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development.
- Handle standard non-teaching departmental duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Philosophy.
- Demonstrate interest in and commitment to teaching and research in philosophy or ethics of AI.
- Be open to all areas of philosophical specialization.
Appointment
- Full-time / Fixed-term — Three-year contract for Assistant Professor appointments with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration before expiry of second three-year contract.
