Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop an independent and vigorous research programme in philosophy or ethics of AI.
- Teach three to four courses per year, including introductory first-year courses, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Contribute to curriculum development and handle standard non-teaching departmental duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Philosophy.
- Have interest in and commitment to teaching and research in philosophy or ethics of AI.
- Be open to all areas of philosophical specialization.
Appointment
- Full-time; tenure-track Assistant Professor on three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration, or tenure-track/tenured Professor/Associate Professor; commencement August or September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
