Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop an independent and vigorous research programme in philosophy.
- Teach three to four courses per year, including introductory first-year courses.
- Excel in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development.
- Handle standard non-teaching departmental duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Philosophy.
- Demonstrate interest in and commitment to teaching and research in philosophy or ethics of AI.
- Be open to all areas of philosophical specialization.
Appointment
- Full-time; tenure-track Assistant Professor on three-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration before expiry of second three-year contract, or tenure-track Professor/Associate Professor positions available.
